While our core program focuses on building overall athletic performance, we do incorporate sport-specific drills and conditioning as needed. The principles of speed, strength, agility, and endurance apply to all sports in a variety of ways, but we tailor exercises to meet the demands of each athlete's specific sport. Whether it’s soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, figure skating, hockey, or any other competitive sport, we will customize your program to complement your sport-specific needs. And it is important to consider, a lot of the sport-specific adjustments we make to an athlete's program is related to typical injuries or overuse conditions common to the sport an athlete plays. For example, if we have a basketball player who is jumping continuously in practice and games but reports the development of a tight and sore sensation in their knees lately, then our sport-specific adjustment could be a reduction in the total jumping volume they do within their training program. Instead, we would focus on landing mechanics or other important movement skills to reduce the total number of jumps they are exposed to each week, thus reducing the effects of overtraining on this athlete. We don't use gimmicks or fads with our athletes, but instead use evidence-based strategies and proven techniques to make our athletes' programs produce the sport-specific outcomes they are looking for.

In fact, we've had over 175 players drafted in the NHL's priority selection draft, and have had over 400+ athletes achieve scholarships after working in our program. For optimal results, we typically recommend athletes train 2-4 times per week, depending on their current schedule, goals, and level of competition. Athlete's in-season may vary between 1-2 sessions a week, whereas if they are in their off-season, we have serious athletes who are training 3, 4 or even 5 days each week. Consistency is key to building strength, speed, and agility, but we also balance training intensity with proper recovery to avoid overtraining. During your athlete’s initial assessment, we’ll design a personalized schedule that aligns with their needs, ensuring they maximize their development without burning out.

Yes! We specialize in age-appropriate training, starting with athletes as young as 8 or 9 years old. In fact, we have a specialized program that is specifically designed for athletes under the age of 13, our "Initiation Program". The Initiation program is designed to develop core skills in a way that’s safe and effective for young competitive athletes, ensuring they build a strong foundation without risking injury or burnout.

The first place we track progress in an athlete's Functional Movement Screen performance. We also use regular assessments and evaluations to measure improvements in key areas like strength, speed, agility, and overall performance. In our training app, athletes can track their performance in all exercises as they log their training details in each training session. The app even shows the athlete what reps and weight they used the last time they performed an exercise to ensure they are always aware of how they can progress from day-to-day within each exercise. We also provide ongoing feedback to both the athlete and their parents to ensure that the training is on target and delivering the desired results.
Yes, our programs are designed to be flexible and fit into an athlete’s busy schedule. We have many athletes who attend their training session here in our facility right after school, then attend their club team practice later that same day. We create training plans that complement their current commitments while ensuring they get the necessary training to see real results. And, we are always flexible enough to adjust today's training plan in-person to accommodate their practice efforts on the same day. Whether they’re juggling school, homework, team practices, or other activities, we help them stay on track.
